Graduate Certificate in Foundational Theological Studies (18 credits)

The Graduate Certificate in Foundational Theological Studies is designed for students with non-religious bachelor's degrees who need foundational theological preparation before entering Master's degree programs. This certificate provides essential theological knowledge and skills necessary for success in graduate theological education. This certificate prepares students with non-religious academic backgrounds for graduate theological study by providing foundational knowledge in biblical studies, systematic theology, church history, and Christian ministry. The Graduate Certificate requires completion of 18 credits in foundational theological coursework. The program is delivered fully online through distance education, allowing students to demonstrate mastery of learning outcomes at their own pace. There are no fixed duration requirements. Upon successful completion, students are prepared to enter Master's degree programs with the necessary theological foundation. All 18 credits from the Graduate Certificate may be applied toward Master's degree programs, subject to program requirements and course equivalency.

Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Ministry Leadership (66 credits)

Research doctorate for scholars and senior ministry leaders who will teach, publish, and lead with evidence-informed judgment. Thirty credits of doctoral seminars pair advanced research methods with OT/NT, historical, and systematic seminars and a three-course ministry-leadership integration sequence framed parallel to the Doctor of Ministry core (vocational accountability → biblical-theological integration → field research and evaluation), but at a scholarly standard culminating in a dissertation—not an applied ministry project. Assessment emphasizes seminar papers, comprehensive or prospectus milestones, committee-supervised dissertation phases, and oral defense. Six credits of concentration seminars and thirty credits of supervised dissertation (prospectus through defense) complete the 66-credit map. Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Pastoral Counseling (66 credits)

Research doctorate for scholars and advanced pastoral caregivers in soul care, integration, and congregational helping systems. Thirty credits of doctoral seminars pair advanced research methods with OT/NT, historical, and systematic seminars oriented to care, plus a three-course integration sequence (vocational ethics and scope, theological integration with counseling theory, field research accountability)—parallel to the D.Min. core but culminating in a dissertation. Six credits of concentration seminars and thirty credits of supervised dissertation complete the map.
